Who did Gavrilo Princip assassinate? Who wrote the “The Nick Adams Stories” and where were they set? What year did the tennis balls at Wimbledon go from white to green?**

Mark Forsyth, the inkyfool (http://blog.inkyfool.com) blogger and author of “The Elegance of Eloquence: How to Turn the Perfect English Phrase,” served as quiz master. After five rollicking rounds—plus a picture category—CNN won in the end, receiving a bottle of champagne for their efforts. Overall, it was a great evening and a fun way to start off our 95th year.
